Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

We’re a growing, ambitious business looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to our Managing Director—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs, and helps translate strategic ideas into action.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be integral to keeping the business running smoothly co-ordinating operations, supporting new business activity, and ensuring every plan is followed through with precision.
What You’ll Do
- Provide proactive, high-level administrative support across all business functions.
- Attend meetings, capture actions, and keep projects on track.
- Manage diaries, schedules, and priorities—handling changes with ease.
- Filter communications and ensure follow-ups are completed.
- Coordinate with internal teams, keeping everyone aligned against goals and KPIs.
- Support with quotations, bid submissions, and pricing tasks.
- Occasionally post company and MD updates on LinkedIn, helping share our success stories.
- Attend selected events alongside the MD, representing the business with confidence and professionalism.
About You
- Exceptionally organised, reliable, and solutions-focused.
- Great communicator—both written and verbal—with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially minded and comfortable working with numbers.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Experienced as a PA/EA or in a similar coordination or operations role.
- Bonus: Previous experience with bid writing or basic audit processes.
