Property Manager
Location: Reading, office-based opposite the train station (4 days in the office, 1 from home)
We are seeking a proactive and organised Property Manager (Maintenance) to join our growing team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious and expanding business providing high-quality rental homes across the UK.
About the Role
As a Property Manager focused on maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring our homes are well-maintained, efficiently managed, and ready for new residents. You’ll work closely with field operatives, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate repairs, manage voids, and deliver an exceptional resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance across a portfolio of single-family homes.
- Coordinate with contractors and field teams to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
- Oversee property churns and void periods to minimise downtime and maximise occupancy.
- Conduct inspections and ensure homes are ready for new tenants.
- Collaborate with Tenancy, Lettings, and Finance teams to align maintenance activities and ensure cost accuracy.
- Monitor contractor performance and support procurement of maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to data-driven reporting and service improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in residential property management, ideally with a focus on maintenance.
- Experience in Build to Rent (BTR) or single-family housing operations is desirable.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is an advantage.
