People Manager

Working as part of an experienced HR Team, you will provide support to the operations part of the business, which includes a lot of staff working across different shifts.
The role:
Staff engagement – making sure that everyone feels supported and has the required skills to do well in their role to help create a happy working environment for all.
Staff retention – supporting the company culture and people processes to ensure that everyone feels valued, that they belong and can just bring their true self to work each day.
Staff inclusion – take opportunities to include and involve everyone so that they feel as if they belong, supporting everyone along the way.
Performance and recognition – reporting and KPI analysis, looking at ways to improve performance with support for leaders in the business to manage effectively.
Personal growth & wellbeing – working with the L&D team to support personal growth, succession planning and staff wellbeing programs.
Skills & Experience:
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record as a CIPD Level 5 qualified People Manager or HR Manager within a manufacturing business.
Experience of working with a purpose driven, values-based business will also be a real advantage.
This role is hands-on and is office based Monday – Friday.
