Business Development Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic business that are now looking for a Business Development Manager to support their growth plans.
This role will be best suited to professionals with experience in building lasting relationships with customers and suppliers within the FMCG sector, together with strategic sales solutions-based approach to support and grow existing relationships.
This is Monday – Friday, with a minimum of 3 days working in the office.
The role:

- Identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s customer base.
- Focus on strategic planning, market research, and growth of the portfolio
- Working closely with existing clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Networking to find new and exciting opportunities for new business
- Structured, organised, pro-active approach to business development and building a strong pipeline for future sales
Skills & experience required:
- Ideal applicants will have a proven track record in Business Development or Account Management within the FMCG or distribution sectors
- Ability to build lasting relationships with key clients
- Organised and structured approach to successfully managing a growing client base
- Use experience to find solutions to any challenges and take ownership of any queries
- Wants to have a positive impact on customers, colleagues and community
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to meet with key clients
