Non-domestic Energy assessor / Commercial buildings energy assessment / Energy Assessment / Energy efficiency / EPC / Energy efficiency surveyor / Level 3 energy assessor /surveyor / level 4 energy assessor /surveyor

DiSRUPT are currently hiring for a permanent energy assessor for one of our outsourced clients who are specialists within energy efficiency and decarbonisation space. They are an experienced consultancy operating within the built environment and operate across the southern counties/south coast regions within the UK. They operate a hybrid/flexible working structure where you will get to attend ad hoc meetings at their Hampshire/West Sussex border office (1-2 times per week as required) and then manage your time working from home (SBEM Analysis/producing key information).

This is a permanent requirement for an energy assessor (Level3/4) initially to help clear a backlog of work and then help develop and improve their overall process of managing/conducting this kind of work in the most efficient way. We will consider domestic/residential energy assessors who want to move into commercial energy assessment / surveying work.

These requirements differ slightly to a traditional end2end Non-domestic EPC assessment and report but follow similar approaches of conducting physical surveys and SBEM analysis in order to produce information that they can they run through their renewables technology models to drive commercial value and simplify decision making of their clients to implement certain recommendations for energy efficiency.

Key requirements of the non-domestic energy assessor:

  • Previous domestic and/or commercial energy efficiency assessor experience (Commercial role so will cross train/upskill if coming from a residential/domestic background)
  • Must have Level 3/4  assessor certification
  • Managing scope of works and visiting sites to complete/produce non domestic energy surveys
  • Preparing analysis/data using SBEM analysis
  • Taking the process up to the production of a non-domestic EPC but then loading this data into their in-house tool for identifying and analysing energy efficiency enhancements to drive, simplify and provide commercial reasoning to clients decision making for future "energy efficiency" works to be delivered.
