We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer ideally with a blend of consulting and permanent work experience and some experience within the Solar PV and battery storage space The electrical engineer will be working with clients across the design phase of construction related works and energy efficiency based projects so will need to be able to consult with clients around things to consider in working towards various electrical engineering solutions that are primarily Solar PV and Battery stroage based but may also include wider energy efficiency related projects. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in electrical engineering and have experience of working for within the Solar PV space. We are open to considering different levels of experience as long as you have some knowledge and experience covering Solar PV and Battery Storage.
This is not a hands on / on-the-tools type engineering role but one of that will blend a solution based approach to client needs/requirements around Solar PV and Battery Storage primarily. Ensuring they receive expert advice and the right solutions that meet their budgets and needs.
The electrical engineer may also be required to develop electrical engineering solutions for clients as part of overall low-carbon systems, from initial analysis through feasibility study to design development and technical oversight of installations. This would typically involve the following key tasks:
- Aid in all stages of Electrical Solar PV and Battery storage solutions design,
- Support Initial scope and final electrical design/feasibility study
- Customer liaison for insight and information to support solutions that meet the clients needs and budgets.
- Support the wider business and clients through clear communication and written reporting requirements.
- Work with client around defining future/longer term business opportunities
